Bee.Wise.Eco Ltd is an independent (small) ecological consultancy providing professional ecological assessment, biodiversity planning, and environmental strategy services across the Greater London and surrounding counties.
The practice was originally founded by Rita Smoldareva in October 2021 and operated under that name on a self-employed basis before being formally registered as a Limited Company in January 2025. The transition reflects Bee.Wise.Eco’s continued growth, expanding client base, and its reputation for delivering high-quality, evidence-led ecological work with precision and clarity.
With over 12 years of professional experience in ecology, habitat management, and environmental assessment, Rita Smoldareva BSc (Hons), PGDip, MSc, Qualifying CIEEM (Full Membership in process), MIET leads all project work as Senior Ecologist. Bat L1 and GCN L1 holder.
Her background includes ecological consultancy for residential and mixed-use development, infrastructure, and landscape-scale biodiversity projects. She combines ecological expertise with technical innovation in GIS, digital monitoring, and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) analytics to ensure compliance with the latest environmental legislation and planning frameworks.
